BuckLock is designed to help bowhunters capture video using on-device deer detection. This policy explains how the app handles information.

Camera and photo access

BuckLock uses your iPhone camera to analyze the live camera view for deer and to record video. When you grant Photos access, BuckLock saves recorded videos to your photo library. You control these permissions in iOS Settings.

On-device processing

Deer detection is performed on your device. Camera frames and recorded hunting videos are not uploaded by BuckLock for detection.

Information collection

The current version of BuckLock does not require an account and does not sell personal information. BuckLock does not collect or transmit your camera footage or recorded videos.

Data retention

Videos saved by BuckLock remain in your photo library until you choose to edit, move, or delete them. BuckLock does not keep a separate cloud copy.

Children’s privacy

BuckLock is not directed to children under 13, and the app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as BuckLock develops. The effective date above will identify the latest revision.
